Apply for a Public Water and/or Sewer ExtensionPublic Works

The City of Kannapolis public water and sewer extensions are permitted through NCDENR. Once the City has reviewed and approved the plans and design of the proposed extension, the appropriate NCDENR applications need to be completed. The developer will be responsible for application fees.

For sanitary sewer extensions, flow acceptance must be obtained from the Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County (WSACC) prior to application submittal.
