Sites and Buildings
The City of Kannapolis has a diverse offering of
buildings and sites available for development. They include former
Pillowtex buildings, retail and office space in Cannon Village and
land for retail and commercial development on Dale Earnhardt Blvd
adjacent to Northlite Shopping
Center at I-85, exit 60.
At I-85, exit 54 along the Kannapolis Parkway and
fronting NC Highway 73, there is space for industrial, office, light
manufacturing, and distribution development in Kannapolis
Gateway Business Park. Kannapolis Gateway Business Park offers
85 acres for sale or build to suit, and a 50,000 square foot shell
building will soon be under construction. The park is home to Novant
Health's central distribution center. For more

Biscayne Industrial Park, Dogwood Industrial Park,
and a new, 275-acre Childress Klein business park also offers these
types of development options. Like Kannapolis Gateway Business Park,
each of these business parks has access to I-85, NC Hwy 73, and
is within easy reach of I-77, NC Highway 3, Concord Regional Airport,
Lowe's Motor Speedway and Charlotte's University Area.
