Council Hears Carver Plan

At its meeting Monday evening, City Council heard a presentation outlining ideas for the Carver Area. Developed by a team from the College of Design at NC State, the NC Cooperative Extension and the City of Kannapolis, the plan used community feedback, surveys, meetings, and other methods to develop a vision that will help strengthen the community, improve infrastructure, and generally help improve the neighborhood.

The outcomes address housing, retail, community centers and other ideas. To view the full presentation and to learn more about the initiative, please click here.
