Council Adopts Budget

At its meeting last night, the Kannapolis City Council adopted the budget for the fiscal year that begins July 1.

While the current economic conditions require a status quo budget year, those that use Village Park will be happy to learn that a new driveway and parking lot are part of this year's budget. Other new expenditures include 11 new patrol vehicles for the KPD, a truck for the new KFD Haz-Mat team and the replacement of the 8th Street sewer line.

Charlotte Symphony Friday Night
