Online Bill Pay Available

With the new fiscal year, the City of Kannapolis has made online bill pay available for water and sewer billing.

To use the service, you'll need to sign up for eCare. It is our new customer account system. Using eCare you can:

  • View billing an usage history
  • Access information for multiple accounts
  • Pay by credit/debit card
  • Pay by electronic check

To sign up you will need your account number, the name on the account, and your meter number. All of this information is on your bill.

There is a significant cost to the city to offer the online and phone payment options, so like other cities Kannapolis will charge a fee of $2.75 for phone, online and credit/debit card transactions.

To avoid the fee you can still pay via the online services offered by your bank, automatic draft, and in person or by mail with cash or check.

For more information, visit www.cityofkannapolis.com and click on "Pay My Water and Sewer Bill." The link is located to the left of the picture of the Core Lab.
