Government and Services
The City of Kannapolis is a city council/manager form of government. The Mayor and six city councilmen are elected for staggered four-year terms in non-partisan elections. The City Council meets the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 6 pm at the Kannapolis Train Station at 201 South Main Street.
